Christine is deeply moved by our mission and ongoing organizational development due to her own personal struggles with reading. She has over 15 years of experience in corporate and nonprofit sectors focusing on program management, fundraising, and operations. She has expertise in financial and strategic planning, program development, grant and systems management, and serves as Vice President of the Board.

Craig is inspired by the stories of so many who strive to navigate their own reading journeys. Each day he is energized by his choice to leave the classroom and take the risk of founding Beyond Kids Reading. Craig views education as a vehicle of change towards a more compassionate and socially just world. He draws upon his experiences as a teacher, higher education researcher, independent school administrator, private sector process consultant, nonprofit manager, and serves as President of the Board.

Don is overjoyed at the opportunity to partner with a team of innovative educators who desire to make a difference in the lives of families and children in need. He has over 40 years of experience in small business development, management and leadership. Don is an entrepreneur, education-minded, and serves as a Director on the Board.

Gayle is inspired to serve on the board due to her own children’s struggles with reading and her desire to find ways to help others. She has over 20 years of executive finance, accounting, operations, and business systems experience. She holds a CPA in Massachusetts, a BA in Mathematics, a MBA in Business Administration, a MS in Taxation, and serves as Treasurer of the Board.
